Someone who can work with our clients to identify the customer needs and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill. You will be responsible for articulating success metrics and rallying a team to turn that vision into a reality. Defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products that meet customer needs will also be critical.
3-4 years in a product management role (Product Owner, Technical PO, Product Manager)
Business management exposure (business strategy, product strategy, operations etc)
Proven experience in a leadership role
Experience in digital product management and or digital product design will be advantageous
A solid understanding of design thinking, UX and customer experience
A solid understanding of business aspects - operations, finance and marketing
General management qualification (Executive management programme/diploma will be advantageous)
DEFINE & MANAGE THE DELIVERY OF OVERALL PRODUCT VALUE:
Define and communicate product vision and strategy
Define and prioritise product scope and roadmap
Manage all aspects of the roadmap deliverables
Act as the customer advocate in the development team articulating users needs.
Work with the business owner and Product Designer to define what problems to solve
Articulate valuable market problems
DEFINE & MANAGE THE DELIVERY OF PRODUCT FEATURES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Gather, manage and prioritize market/customer requirements
Work closely with the Product Owner to define product features and requirements
Meditate the needs of the business as requirements change
Review completed work and check customer satisfaction
Work with the Product Owner to manage defects, enhancements and any product feedback that has an impact on the product as a whole
DEFINE & MANAGE THE PERIPHERAL, SUPPLEMENTARY AND COMPLEMENTARY REQUIREMENTS:
Assist in identifying relevant compliance and regulatory requirements
Assist in identifying the operational environment necessary to manage the product post launch
Communicate operational, compliance and regulatory requirements to the Product Owner to ensure relevant features are delivered
Facilitate the activities related to the product launch. This includes the development and/or distribution of customer communications, launch plans, coordinate launch activities, ensure relevant materials and collateral is prepared, etc
Facilitate setup of all customer experience and operational requirements, training materials, operational and procedural documentation
PROJECT REPORTING:
Provide reports on project status to stakeholders as required
Manage blockers and delivery expectations between client and delivery team
Provide analytics reporting to stakeholders as required; post launch
