Feenix rose out of the belief that education is vital to breaking the cycle of poverty, and access to education should not be dependent on wealth. Research proved that there was a desire within the community to help make a difference through education, but a lack of appropriate channels. In response to this, an online crowdfunding (or fundraising) solution was established to rally students to tap into their own communities through a safe and secure platform.
