Test Engineer Skills & requirements

Our QA team is responsible for testing and maintaining product test cases for all of our exciting projects. You will be required to work closely with the rest of the talented team to reach product objectives by using your exceptional skills to ensure the quality of our products.

The position will require someone to have 4 years experience in writing automated and manual test cases. To have worked with CI tools and executing automated tests. To have experience working with mobile devices in device farms and using Qtest would be to your advantage. A qualification in Computer Science and ISTQB/ISEB qualificationwill be an advantage. 

As a Tester Engineer,  you will be responsible for end-to-end user tests and regression tests. You will be required to report bugs to the team members, develop and maintain automation scripts, implement the automation framework with supporting tests and execute automated regression tests through a CI pipeline.

You will be required to plan and estimate project deliverables, take part in sprint planning sessions as well as project retrospectives. You will work closely with product owners to ensure efficient delivery of automation tests and to understand the front-end and back-end architecture. You will have to develop and maintain reports with test plan and test execution result and communicate these to technical team lead.

One of your key respnsibilities will be to effectively maintain and manage various test cases. Regular collaboration and review of test cases is an essential part of the development lifecycle. You will develop and maintain automation pipelines in CI tools and investigate errors and raise necessary tickets with the relevant team.
